Lawyers4Vets
Lawyers4Vets is a project of the SC Appleseed Legal Justice Center in collaboration with the VA. Volunteer lawyers come to the VA to consult with veterans on civil issues such as expungement, wills, custody and housing issues. NO VA Benefit issues can be handled. My Will
My Will is a joint project presented by the SC Bar Pro Bono Program, the Central Midlands Office on Governments- Office on Aging and the Law School Pro Bono Program. The goal is to provide simple wills to low income senior citizens. Clients are prescreened and complete a questionnaire before arriving at their appointment. Volunteer attorneys, assisted by law students prepare and execute a simple will. Law students also serve as the witnesses in the execution process. This project is…

H.E.L.P. Clinic-the Homeless Clinic, a project of the Richland County Bar Association Pro Bono Committee is conducted from 8:30-10 am on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at Transitions.
